Privacy Policy
This explains what saskatoonhomelistings.ca collects, why, and what happens to it. We've tried to write it plainly. If something isn't answered here, email [email protected].
This site is run by Tim Bomboir and Spencer Bomboir, the Bomboir Real Estate Team, REALTORS® with Boyes Group Realty Inc., 714 Duchess Street, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0R3.
What we collect
When you ask for the free guide, the form collects:
- Your first name and email address (required).
- Your last name, phone number, when you might sell, and your neighbourhood (all optional).
- Whether you ticked the box for our monthly Saskatoon market update.
We don't collect payment details.
Browsing data: Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel (also called the Facebook Pixel), a piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit a page, it sends Meta information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and whether you requested the guide. It sets cookies in your browser to do this. We use it to measure our ads and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the site. The pixel does not receive the details you type into the form.
To opt out, use Meta's ad settings, a browser extension that blocks tracking pixels, or your browser's tracking protection. The site works fully without the pixel. Apart from the Meta Pixel, we don't use analytics tools or other tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
- To email you the guide.
- To send one short follow-up email a few days later, asking if you have any questions.
- To pull neighbourhood numbers for you, if you reply and ask.
- To send the monthly market update, only if you ticked that box.
- To call or text you, only if you gave a phone number. By sharing it, you agree that we may call or text you about the guide and your home. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
We don't call unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
We never sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. To run the form, your details pass through the services below, which handle them only on our behalf:
- Google (Apps Script and Gmail) delivers your submission to us and sends your automatic reply. Your details are then stored in our Gmail accounts.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives the browsing data described above through the Meta Pixel.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it may log technical details of visits, such as IP address and browser type.
Our brokerage, Boyes Group Realty Inc., may also have access to client records as required for the practice of real estate in Saskatchewan.
Your choices
- Every market update email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect right away.
- You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly.
- You can withdraw consent to calls, texts or emails at any time by telling us.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're likely to be interested in hearing from us, or as long as we're required to keep client records. If you ask us to delete them, we will, except where the law or our brokerage requires us to keep a record.
